Metalworking Dust Collector for Welding, Laser Cutting, Plasma Cutting &Thermal Spray Coating

The BlueSky® metalworking dust collector is extremely well suited for the metal fabrication industry because of its modular design. Each machine consists of different sections. The number and type of sections that are used determine the machine's capacity and/or functionality.

  • Metalworking Dust collectors available from 1,000CFM up to 60,000CFM (maximum dust-collecting capacity 6 tons). Integrated HEPA filtration optional for all sizes.

A metalworking dust collection system that's compact, modular and variable in size

A tunnel dust collector that's compact, modular, and does not require on-site filter change-outs

A BlueSky®metalworking dust collector, is both modular and sectional. Sections are bolted together and various modules are fitted inside the sections. This makes every BlueSky dust collector a  custom unit that we put together for you, based on the dust collecting capacity you  require and what type of dust or fume you need to capture. Because of that, you never pay for power you don't need.

HEPA filtration. When HEPA filtration is required, we can simply ad a section with a HEPA filtration module t to your machine. Integrated HEPA filtration is available for every size and configuration dust collector.

The "secret weapon" of a BlueSky® dust collector is the SmartBox® module. This module contains the filters and captures the dust. For this reason, on-site personnel never comes in contact with dirty filters and, if the SmartBox®is used in its sealed: configuration, also not with dust the collected dust.

Metal Production Dust Collector

Dust collection systems in metal processing industries are essential to the health of employees. During the manufacturing of many metal products, fine particulate dust is generated by various methods, the most dangerous being sublimates and soluble oxides such as Hexavalent chromium. These sub-micron dust particles should be removed from work environments to protect personnel and maintain high productivity levels.

Metalworking Dust Collector rental

BlueSky Air Cleaners are ideal as an option during normal daily operations, as well as the particularly hazardous periods during plant maintenance. BlueSky dust collectors are quickly set up and are a worry-free temporary solution if that's what's needed.

BlueSky dust collectors can be rented sort-term or leased for longer periods.

Laser Cutting Dust Collector

Setting up dust collection for laser cutting is similar to the dust collection set up for plasma cutting. The issues of controlling toxic dust and fume are the same, and staying on top of current EPA and OSHA standards is essential to staying out of trouble.

Not only are rules and regulations changing fast, in the current economy, your business is probably changing fast too. For that reason it's wise to chose a laser cutting dust collector that can change quickly as well, both in size and functionality.

Plasma Cutting Dust Collector

When it comes to dust and fume handling for plasma cutting systems, no dust collection system is better suited for this task than a BlueSky dust collection system.

What makes a BlueSky machine the ideal plasma cutting table dust collector is the fact that it's so customizable, both in size and functionality (example: when cutting stainless steel, or any Hexavalent chromium containing material, you can easily ad a HEPA filtration to the set-up)

An estimated 26%–53% of COPD can be attributed to occupational exposures

National surveys have shown that exposure to dust, grain dust, organic dust, inorganic dust, fumes, hydrogen sulfide, diesel exhaust, environmental tobacco smoke, and chemicals increases the risk for COPD morbidity and mortality. — CDC (Centers for Disease Control)

The SmartBox option

Safety. The optional use of a SmartBox adds an extra layer of safety, essential when lead, asbestos, or other dangerous dust is present.

HEPA  Filtration. When a SmartBox is used, the (optional) HEPA filters and the collected dust are locked together inside the SmartBox (sits in the blue carrier) —therefore personnel never needs to touch dangerous dust or dirty filters.
